In the summer of 2018, a vibrant life was tragically cut short in Glendale, Arizona. Martiniano Sandoval Jr., a 26-year-old Hispanic male, was known for his outgoing and funny personality. He was a father and worked as a chef. However, on the evening of July 8th, his life came to a violent end.
That Sunday night, a dispute escalated into a fatal shooting. In the confrontation's aftermath, Martiniano Sandoval Jr. was left dead, and another individual was wounded.
The gunman fled the scene, sparking an intense investigation by the Glendale Police Department. The motive behind the deadly encounter was not immediately clear, leaving a community in shock and a family grappling with a sudden and devastating loss.
The search for the person responsible for Mr. Sandoval's death quickly became a multi-state effort. Investigators were able to identify a suspect, Izeaha Texidor. Believing he had crossed state lines, Glendale detectives worked with other law enforcement agencies to track his movements. A few days later, their efforts paid off. Texidor was located and apprehended in Texas, bringing a swift, albeit geographically distant, resolution to the manhunt. Following his capture, the process of extraditing him back to Arizona was initiated to face charges for his alleged role in the death of Martiniano Sandoval Jr.
