In the winter of 2025, a Glendale, Arizona apartment complex became the scene of a tragic discovery. On the afternoon of Friday, January 17th, police were dispatched to a residence near Bethany Home Road and 67th Avenue following a report of a man down. Inside, they found 48-year-old Desmon Farrington in his living room, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Farrington was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Glendale Police Department quickly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting. The incident was one of four shootings that occurred in the city over that weekend, two of which were fatal. Authorities have been actively searching for a suspect or suspects in connection with Farrington's death.
