On November 5, 2022, a promising life was cut short when 23-year-old Brandon Michael Tukes was fatally shot in Glendale, Arizona. Tukes, a Black / African American male, had relocated to Arizona from Des Moines, Iowa, with aspirations of becoming a police officer.
