The life of 21-year-old Jeffrey Edgar Lee O'Connell, a white male, was cut tragically short on August 6, 2018. He was found in the driver's seat of a parked Jeep on the 1800 block of W. Charleston Avenue, having been shot multiple times.
Responding police officers pronounced him dead at the scene.
The moments leading up to the fatal encounter were fraught with tension. Witnesses reported seeing O'Connell arguing with 20-year-old Ethaniel Isaiah Anselmo. The two men were known to each other, and their dispute escalated with terrifying speed.
