On a summer evening in north Phoenix, a heated argument shattered the quiet of a residential street, leaving a young man dead and another facing a lifetime behind bars. The life of 21-year-old Jeffrey Edgar Lee O'Connell, a white male, was cut tragically short on August 6, 2018. He was found in the driver's seat of a parked Jeep on the 1800 block of W. Charleston Avenue, having been shot multiple times. Responding police officers pronounced him dead at the scene.
