In the late hours of a Friday night in Phoenix, Arizona, a burst of violence shattered the peace, leaving one man dead and three others wounded. The incident unfolded on March 21, 2025, near the 4100 block of North Black Canyon Access Road, where police were called to the scene of a shooting at approximately 11:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Tyson Miko Harris, a Black male, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, his injuries proved to be fatal.
As Phoenix police began to piece together the events of that chaotic night, the scope of the incident widened. Not far from where Harris was found, another adult male was located with a gunshot wound. His injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a hospital for treatment. The investigation took another turn when the Mesa Police Department, in a separate but related event, encountered an adult male and an adult female within their jurisdiction who had also sustained gunshot wounds. It was later determined that they were connected to the same shooting that claimed Harris's life. Their injuries were also reported as non-life-threatening.
