In Tempe, Arizona, on September 17, 2018, a dispute over money inside a vehicle turned fatal for 28-year-old Marco Antonio Hernandez. While at the intersection of Priest Drive and Baseline Road, Hernandez was shot by another passenger in the car. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Hernandez was quickly transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
