On the evening of March 17, 2023, five-year-old Jayceon Marquell Burton was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in Tempe, Arizona. The young boy, who was just weeks away from his sixth birthday, was a passenger in a car with seven other people, including an 18-year-old and five other minors.
