In December of 2018, Priscilla LeFevre, a 67-year-old female, was found deceased in her Phoenix, Arizona, apartment located on North Black Canyon Highway. Her husband, Jerry LeFevre, discovered her body on a Wednesday afternoon when he returned home. Authorities immediately suspected foul play and launched a homicide investigation into her death.
The investigation quickly led to a suspect, 54-year-old Anna Collum.
Collum was located and arrested in Tucson and was set to be transferred to Phoenix to face charges in connection with LeFevre's murder. According to Priscilla's husband, his wife had been counseling Collum. He believes that on the day of the murder, Priscilla had welcomed Collum into her home, likely to talk, when she was tragically killed.
Priscilla LeFevre was a mother of three and a grandmother to four children who had been married to her husband for 47 years. She was described as a person who dedicated her life to ministering to and helping others. In the early 2000s, she went on a mission trip to Uganda and was so moved by the experience that she founded a non-profit organization called Light the Globe. Through her charity, she was instrumental in building several churches and a school in the African nation. Her husband recalled how she was always drawn to helping 'the people that most people wouldn't even pay any attention to.'
