On the evening of April 18, 2019, 28-year-old Marvin Aguila was fatally shot near 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road in west Phoenix. Following the incident, he was transported to a hospital in extremely critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. Initial reports indicated that an altercation between Aguila and the suspect led to the shooting.
