On the night of May 20, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona, 18-year-old Jalen Juwaun Terrell was walking with two friends near a bus stop on 10th Avenue and Dobbins Road. The young man's life was cut short when shots were fired in their direction. While his friends were able to escape the gunfire, Terrell was struck and fatally wounded.
