On June 30, 2014, Charles Cheatham, a 47-year-old male of unknown race and ethnicity from Phoenix, Arizona, was found shot to death as he sat inside his vehicle in the parking lot of the Villa Mira Monte Apartments, a small gated complex in the North Mountain area of north Phoenix near 19th Avenue and Peoria. Shortly after 12:30 a.m., officers were called to the complex on reports of a shooting and discovered his car in the lot with evidence of gunfire and Cheatham mortally wounded inside. The i ...
