In the summer of 2019, a well-respected member of the Phoenix community, 45-year-old Dung Tang, lost his life in a violent act that sent ripples of shock and grief through the city. The male business owner was fatally wounded on the morning of June 5, 2019, during a robbery at his nail salon, a place of business he had built near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road.
