In a tragic turn of events on March 24, 2021, a young man's life was cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Anthony Ayala-Berumen, a 21-year-old White/Caucasian male, was fatally shot in an apartment located in the vicinity of 7th Street and Buckeye Road. The incident unfolded in the late afternoon, just before 4:20 p.m., when a distress call was made to 911.
The caller, in a shocking admission, informed the authorities that he had just shot his friend.
Phoenix police officers were promptly dispatched to the scene at the 1100 block of East Mohave Street.
