Shawn Newman, age 35, was found dead on November 10, 2007, in Jacksonville, Florida. His homicide remains unsolved, and the case has become part of Project Cold Case's advocacy for justice for victims of unsolved murders. Newman was reportedly a victim of gun violence, and despite ongoing investigations, the authorities have not been able to identify a suspect or motive.
