On September 2, 2019, Jason Robinson, a 43-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, lost his life due to gun violence. The incident occurred near the intersection of 27th Avenue and McDowell Road, as well as in the vicinity of 28th Avenue and Palm Lane.

Robinson was shot in the chest just before 4:00 a.m. on that Monday. Following the shooting, he attempted to seek help by going door to door in the area. Despite his efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
