In the winter of 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Richard Coss, a 25-year-old White/Caucasian male, was fatally shot on December 18th in what began as a dispute with a neighbor. The situation escalated when three masked individuals forced their way into Coss's apartment, instigating a physical altercation with him and a friend who was present.
During the struggle, one of the intruders produced a firearm and shot Richard in the chest, leading to his death at the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department launched a homicide investigation that quickly led to the apprehension of three suspects. These men were identified as Carl Blazak, Keith McCollough, and Jimmy Eslinger. One of the individuals taken into custody was reportedly a neighbor of Richard Coss. As the investigation progressed, law enforcement officials were able to identify and arrest two additional suspects, bringing the total number of individuals in custody to five in connection with the murder. The suspects are facing charges that include first-degree homicide and burglary.
