On the night of January 5, 2021, the life of 39-year-old Jessica Kennedy, a White Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in a North Phoenix apartment. Police were called to the residence near 35th Avenue and Bell Road for a welfare check just before midnight. Upon entering the apartment, they discovered Jessica with a fatal gunshot wound to her head. The weapon used in the shooting was conspicuously absent from the scene, launching an immediate and intensive investigation into her death.
