On the evening of February 25, 2021, a fatal shooting occurred in Tucson, Arizona, claiming the life of 42-year-old Luis Rafael Lopez, a Hispanic male. The incident transpired at approximately 6 p.m. in the vicinity of East Michigan Street and South Contractors Way. Lopez was driving southbound on Contractors Way with a passenger when another vehicle approached at a high rate of speed. Shots were fired from the passing vehicle, striking Lopez.
