On July 18, 2021, at approximately 3:23 a.m., 23-year-old Destiny McClain was fatally shot while ordering food from a food truck near the intersection of 17th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred in a parking lot outside a nightclub, where a crowd of people were gathered.
