Christopher Pelkey, a 37-year-old U.S. Army veteran from Chandler, Arizona, was fatally shot on November 13, 2021, in a road rage incident. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Gilbert and Germann roads. According to police, an altercation began when Pelkey and the suspect, 50-year-old Gabriel Paul Horcasitas, were driving northbound on Gilbert Road.
