In August of 2016, a sense of unease led to the discovery of a tragedy in a Chandler, Arizona, home. Steve Hogarth, a 44-year-old Caucasian male, was found deceased inside his residence on August 25th. Friends had become concerned when they were unable to reach him, prompting a request for a welfare check. When Chandler police officers arrived, they found Hogarth had been the victim of a homicide, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
