In the early morning hours of December 30, 2021, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a Phoenix neighborhood, leaving a 40-year-old man, Seth Haefer, dead from a gunshot wound. Phoenix police officers responded to a call just after midnight in the vicinity of 19th Avenue and Missouri Avenue, where they discovered Haefer with a serious injury.
