Douglas James Brandell, a 38-year-old man, had built a life for himself in Phoenix, Arizona, after moving there in May of 2013. Originally from El Dorado Springs, Missouri, where he was born on January 28, 1983, he was known for his amazing sense of humor and his love for friends and family. Growing up, he was active in the FFA, band, and DeMolay. He was also an animal lover and active in his church.
