On February 12, 2022, Rene Romero, a 42-year-old man, was fatally shot in Tucson, Arizona. The incident occurred in the rear parking lot of the Roger Plaza Apartments, located at 102 W. Roger Road, near North Oracle Road. Police received several 911 calls around 9:20 a.m. reporting a shooting and a possible victim in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found Romero in a vehicle with gunshot trauma.
