In the spring of 2015, the life of Travis Martinez, a 25-year-old man from Tucson, Arizona, was tragically cut short. On Saturday, April 25, 2015, Martinez fell victim to gun violence on the southwest side of the city. The Tucson Police Department swiftly identified the incident as a homicide and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
