On January 6, 2018, Anthony Quintela, a 61-year-old resident of Tucson, Arizona, was fatally shot during an armed robbery at Raspados Funland, located at 702 West Irvington Road. The incident began when an armed robber approached the cashier and demanded money. As the robber fled, a customer, who was also armed and happened to be Quintela's son, confronted him. This confrontation led to a gun battle with several shots being fired.
