On June 11, 2022, Pamela Rae Martinez, a 60-year-old food delivery driver from Glendale, Arizona, was fatally shot in a roadway altercation. Martinez had completed her last food delivery of the night and was preparing to head home. At approximately 7:11 p.m., she called her daughter, Monique Daniels, to ask her to pack a bag as she planned to spend the night at her boyfriend's house. However, Martinez never made it home.
