Monet Laterra Newton, a 24-year-old woman from Glendale, Arizona, was tragically killed in a suspected murder-suicide on October 15, 2024. Newton was found dead in her apartment alongside her ex-boyfriend, Chase Cooper, 22, with both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. According to the Glendale Police Department, initial investigations suggest that Cooper murdered Newton before taking his own life.
