In a quiet Glendale, Arizona home, a grim scene unfolded on June 6, 2016, forever altering the lives of the Kuhn family. Alex Kuhn, a 47-year-old transgender man, was shot and killed in a violent attack that also claimed the life of his 65-year-old mother, Peggy Kuhn. Alex's father, Robert Kuhn, who was 69 at the time, was also shot but survived his injuries. The tranquility of their residence near 91st and Maryland Avenues was shattered by the brutal events that transpired.
