In a tragic turn of events on the night of June 15, 2022, Ian Robert Stutterheim, a 25-year-old male, was killed in Flagstaff, Arizona. The incident unfolded as a domestic violence episode that ended in a murder-suicide. Police were dispatched to a residence on West Kaibab Lane around 9:39 p.m. following a report of trespassing. Upon arrival, an officer heard a woman's screams coming from inside the home.
Inside the residence, the officer discovered a horrifying scene.
Ian Stutterheim and a woman, identified as 31-year-old Tianna Guglielmo, were found with multiple gunshot wounds. Stutterheim, who was a friend and coworker of Guglielmo, unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The perpetrator was identified as 31-year-old Kevin McManis, Guglielmo's estranged husband.
Investigations revealed that McManis had forcibly entered the home, where Guglielmo had recently moved, by using a concrete block. After shooting Stutterheim and Guglielmo, McManis then took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Guglielmo was the sole survivor of the violent attack and was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. Authorities later confirmed the incident was a tragic case of domestic violence.
