On a summer morning in Tucson, Arizona, a routine duty turned into a scene of immense tragedy. Pima County Constable Deborah Martinez-Garibay, a 43-year-old female and a veteran of the U.S. Army, was killed in the line of duty on August 25, 2022. She was at the Lind Commons Apartments to serve an eviction notice, a task she had performed many times, but this time it would be her last.
