In the pre-dawn hours of December 23, 2017, a sense of holiday anticipation in a Tucson, Arizona, home was shattered by violence. Nineteen-year-old Jasmine Vega, who was eight months pregnant, was asleep in her bed when multiple gunshots were fired into the residence from the outside.
