In the early morning hours of August 27, 2022, a gathering of people and cars in a parking lot in the 4600 block of East Speedway Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona, turned tragic. Forty-three-year-old Joseph 'Pnut' Micheal Hunter, an African American male, was present at the scene when an altercation broke out amongst the crowd. The dispute escalated, leading to gunshots being fired.
