Curtis Michael Fanning, a 37-year-old man from Tucson, Arizona, was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on October 1, 2020. The incident took place on the west side of Tucson, where Fanning was found dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives were promptly called to investigate the shooting. Through their investigation, which included interviews with witnesses, they identified a suspect believed to be responsible for Fanning's death.
