On Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at approximately 11:15 a.m., Gordon Gibbs walked away from the Greater Niagara General Hospital, where he was a patient. About 30 minutes later a witness saw a man matching Gordon's description looking over the railing into the hydro feeder canal in the area of Portage Rd. and Morrison St., Niagara Falls. He suffers from mental health issues and dementia.
