Al-Hajjii Khaliph-Jamez Brooks, aged 42, passed away on February 19, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona. His death was a result of gun violence.

The incident involved an altercation over money that Brooks supposedly owed to a woman. According to court documents, Brooks and the woman argued, leading to the fatal shooting.
