On May 9, 2023, at approximately 1:46 a.m., a homicide occurred in the parking lot of 5612 North 27th Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Aloysius Mamattah, was found deceased from a gunshot wound.

Police officers responded to a call regarding an injured person near the location and arrived to find Mamattah with fatal injuries. Despite immediate response, Mamattah was pronounced dead at the scene.
