In the spring of 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm at a Phoenix apartment complex, leaving one young man dead and another wounded. The incident unfolded on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, near 83rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard. When police responded to reports of a shooting around 8:30 p.m., they discovered 20-year-old Yenso Estrada suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of fire officials at the scene, Estrada was pronounced dead.
