In a tragic turn of events stemming from a heated argument, Gregg York, a 57-year-old man, lost his life in Phoenix, Arizona. The fatal encounter occurred on a Saturday evening, March 24, 2018, near 28th Street and McDowell Road, forever altering the lives of two brothers.
During the course of a dispute, Gregg was shot by his older brother, 64-year-old Troy York. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Gregg was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Following the shooting, law enforcement authorities took immediate action. Troy York was taken into custody by the Phoenix police. He was subsequently booked on one count of second-degree murder in connection with the death of his brother. The incident left a family fractured by violence and loss.
