Murdered

On June 8, 2023, Sonia Zaragoza, a 35-year-old woman, was found dead along with a 54-year-old man, Xavier Morales, at the Minsk Hotel in Tucson, Arizona. The Tucson Police Department responded to a report of two people found unconscious and not breathing in one of the hotel rooms. Upon arrival, officers found both Zaragoza and Morales unresponsive, and they were pronounced dead at the scene. The bodies were discovered by a hotel employee, and both victims had sustained trauma.
