In a tragic incident on Sunday, March 3, 2024, 30-year-old Marie Ann Noelani Garcia of Kingman, Arizona, was found deceased. Deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at approximately 11:28 AM regarding a female with a gunshot wound in the 3100 block of Butler Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Garcia's body at the scene.
Detectives were promptly called in to take over the investigation into what was being treated as a homicide.
Their inquiries quickly led them to identify a suspect in the case: Nicholas Ray Volk, a 32-year-old resident of Kingman. The investigation revealed that Volk had fled the scene of the incident in a tan Jeep.
Authorities later located the vehicle that Volk had reportedly used to leave the area. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office has issued an alert, cautioning that Volk should be considered armed and dangerous. They are actively searching for him and have asked the public for any information regarding his whereabouts, urging anyone with knowledge of the case to contact them.
