On April 13, 2024, a shooting incident occurred in south Phoenix, resulting in the deaths of two men, including 19-year-old Elijah Sanchez. The incident took place around 2:45 a.m. near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Roeser Road. Phoenix police officers responded to reports of a shooting and found three men with gunshot wounds.
