In the pre-dawn hours of June 10, 2024, a father of five, Lealdo Enrique Pedrego Tolano, was driving his gray 2009 Ford Escape on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. At approximately 3:35 a.m., a call was made to the Arizona Department of Public Safety about a vehicle collision near 7th Avenue. When troopers arrived at the scene, they discovered the 39-year-old man inside his vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
