In the early morning hours of October 8, 2024, a shooting inside a west Phoenix home claimed the life of Jesus Salazar Reyes. A 34-year-old Hispanic male, Reyes was found by Phoenix police officers who were responding to a report of a shooting at a residence near 71st Avenue and Osborn Road shortly after 2 a.m. He was suffering from multiple injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
