Death by Force

In the early morning hours of July 5, 2018, the life of 20-year-old Roderick Moore, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. The silence of the night was broken by the sound of gunfire at the Jackson Tower apartment complex, located near South 31st and Jackson Streets. When Omaha police officers responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 4:30 a.m., they discovered Moore deceased at the scene. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
