On June 17, 2020, Joshua Jourdan, a 35-year-old man from Cozad, Nebraska, was fatally shot by his wife, Kathleen Jourdan, while driving on Interstate 80 near Cozad. The incident occurred during an argument between the couple as they were relocating for Kathleen's new position with the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Family Residency Medical Program.
