April Bertram-Crowley, a White female, 39, was found mortally wounded on the night of Monday, June 7, 2021, at a rural Cass County residence near Weeping Water. Deputies had arrived around 9:30 p.m. to serve multiple arrest warrants at the property on Adams Street when they heard a single gunshot from inside and then a call for help.
