Alonzo Jones, a 28-year-old Black/African American man, died on September 5, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska, following a shooting at the Tanglewood apartment complex where he resided. The incident unfolded on a Sunday morning when Jones returned to his apartment to find 23-year-old Lendell Harris with a woman they were both romantically involved with.
