In the late hours of a Saturday night in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 18-year-old Dayton Wenz was tragically cut short. On August 6, 2022, after 11:00 p.m., Omaha police officers were dispatched to the area of North 34th and Davenport Streets following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. Dayton Wenz, a Caucasian male, was found on the sidewalk, suffering from serious injuries sustained from gunfire.
