In the early summer of 2018, the life of a young Black / African American man, 22-year-old Jeremiah Plater, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On the evening of June 7th, Plater was at a Bucky's gas station, a place of routine comings and goings, when a violent encounter abruptly ended his life.
